This collection consists of a letter and poem written to Minnie Van Derveer of Frankfort, Kentucky. The poem was written in 1885 by Henry T. Stanton. The letter, written ca. 1895 by Daisy Fitzhugh Ayres of New Canaan, Connecticut, asks Minnie to send a photograph of herself for publication in a magazine featuring famous Kentucky beauties.
